Effective March 19, 2024, there are updates to SMART and PREMIUM service. Here’s what you need to know so you can plan accordingly.
What’s changed about the PREMIUM Brightline+ offer?
To provide more flexibility to our PREMIUM Guests, we are now offering a $10 Uber voucher. This new experience enables you to select any type of Uber ride, not just Uber X. And you’ll have the ability to tip your Uber drivers and schedule the rides according to your plans.
I have a PREMIUM booking. How do I receive my $10 Uber credit?
If your Brightline account phone number matches the phone number associated with your Uber account, the voucher will be automatically applied to your Uber account. Otherwise, your Uber voucher will be provided via email from Uber.
How do I book an Uber ride with the $10 credit?
You’ll book your ride in the Uber app. If your Brightline account phone number matches the phone number associated with your Uber account, the voucher will be automatically applied to your Uber account. If not, you’ll receive the Uber voucher in your email directly from Uber.
I have a Brightline+ Uber ride scheduled for a future trip. What happens if I need to cancel or modify this ride?
Brightline+ Uber rides scheduled for a future ride will be honored until April 14, 2024. Starting March 14, 2024, Uber rides will need to be booked directly through the Uber App. PREMIUM Guests will receive a $10 voucher to be used towards their Uber ride.
What happens if I change my ride? How do I modify my Uber credit?
You will book your Uber ride on demand in your personal Uber app and make any changes needed in real time. When modifying a train reservation, your previous voucher will be canceled and a new one will be issued to you once you complete your new booking.
